Paper scraps produced by the Graphic Design students have been compiled into strips of papers that can be woven and combined to create different compositions. These scraps are a representation of the flaws, the misprints, the discarded options that were deemed undesirable, with many of them symbolise the unfinished ideas or iterations that never made it to the final cut.
The installation encourages visitors to see paper scraps in a different light, and how one’s person’s trash is another person’s treasure. This collaborative collage is a platform created by and for everyone, where each individual's scraps played a critical role in the final body of work.

Through this installation, I want to start a conversation about paper scraps and how these seemingly insignificant trimmings of paper can be utilised and reborn as a new work of art.
